Newly improved Cricket API 2.0

At Sportmonks, we aim to deliver high-quality sports data to our customers, and we try to reach this goal by working our butts off every day.

Customer feedback is vital to us. Since our Cricket API release, we’ve had multiple complaints about the Cricket API’s learning curve being too high.

Well, we listened to your feedback and have therefore decided to rebuild it!

We proudly present to you our Cricket API version 2.0.

Cricket API 2.0 was built on the same engine as our Soccer API 2.0, which has over 15,000 customers worldwide.

We aimed to retain as much flexibility as possible, so you still have the option of adding includes to load data like line-ups, runs, scoreboards, and comments in a single request.

What did change is that the responses are now more streamlined than ever, meaning that custom codes are no longer required to link relationships and include data. The Cricket API does this automatically and presents you with well-formatted responses.

Of course, this isn’t the only improvement. We have also added:
-More Cricket leagues
-More player careers statistics on a per season basis
-Ranking of men and women for TEST, ODI, and T20I (New feature)

See our rewritten Cricket documentation page for more in-depth information about all the changes.
